When anyone pledges allegiance to our American Flag part of what we say we believe in as a nation is "one nation under God." Look on the back of your paper money. It says, "in God we trust."

Do we really trust in God? If we do then why has it just recently become against the law for an organization

such as the Gideons to give out Bibles in schools? Some say it is because the constitution of these United States demands separation of church and state. It most assuredly does that but and I say but, it does not, and I repeat it does not say separation of God from State.

This is what the ACLU and several other none Christians would have us to believe the founding fathers meant. Take a look at the Preamble to the Constitution of the United States. It talks of

"Nature's God." And in the Declaration of Independence it talks of the Creator. Does this sound like someone who wants separation of God FROM State?
At the time our country was founded there was a very strong Church of England. This was a church that was operated to support the policies of Great Britain. You had better belong to that church if you knew what was good for you.  Our founding fathers in our constitution stated that there would be no preference of churches. That there would be no nationally recognized church above any other. That no special consideration would be given to any church over another.
I am a Baptist becuase it folows the Bible. By the way, I am a racist. My pastor is black and I was one of three that had to OK him. Check him out at connect church Algeris, La. But if the Federal government tried to establish The Baptist Church as the national church I would be right there fighting against it along with everyone else.
Our religious freedom is guaranteed by The Bill Of Rights. The very first one which was the very first amendment to our constitution states,"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." When our government will not allow us to have the free exercise of our religious beliefs isn't it in fact the one who is denying us our freedom.  I talk to anyone who will listen to me about Jesus, but I have no will nor desire to forcible make someone listen to me. How is denying our school children the right to pray or to have a Bible enforcing the first amendment? To deny them this right is in fact violating the very thing it claims to protect.
But isn't it about time that we Christians stood up and let ourselves be counted, also. I do not believe in a national church but I most assuredly do believe in a national God and His name is Jehovah or Yahweh. If I did not believe in Him He would not go away. But I would.

Isn't it a national shame that a country that is a declared atheist country now is begging for Bibles to be brought into it and given out to anyone who wants one, especially to the school children right in their classrooms and a country that has as its motto, "In God we trust"one cannot go into the schools with a Bible.  Wake up America. It is almost too late now. The iron curtain countries have tried for over seventy years to get by without God and have failed miserably. They now want and beg for ethics to be taught to their people. And guess where they are turning for ethics. It is to the word of Great God Almighty as set forth in the BIBLE.
Are we doomed as a nation because we are going to sit still and do nothing and allow our country to continue to slide toward Hell on earth or are we going to do something about it?

Our country cannot build prisons fast enough to hold the criminals. What can we do about it? We can begin to demand that God be put back in His proper place as our God and Savior.  I believe it was Benjamin Franklin who said, "The only way evil and injustice can win is for good men and women to do nothing."
Someone this past week asked me how could it happen that Bibles are not allowed in our schools. How can this happen? It is easy because no one did anything to stop it. Make a difference write your congressman and senator and tell him to really put back the meaning in "Under God"and "in God we trust."

Hurry America it may not be too late.

Where is all the indignation that should be coming from the pulpits? Our preachers and priests have to start taking a stand.

Your brother in Christ
